Dedicated to the memory of Audrey Simpson
This site is a tribute to Audrey Simpson (Née de Groot), beloved mother of Larissa Simpson, who died on Tuesday 19th January 2021.
She was a real people person and had a huge zest for life. Her interests were many: history, upholstery, antiques, dance, drama, classical music, travel, sailing, riding, skiing and walking to name but a few. She had a strong Christian faith.
After spending her childhood and young adult life in Barnet, she married her wonderful husband Mark and they enjoyed 48 very happy years together.
Living in firstly Bedfordshire then the Vale of Belvoir; on retirement they moved to Morcott where they spent the last 36 years – an integral and valued part of Morcott life and history.
She will be much missed.
My heartfelt thanks go to so many people who showed her so much love and support.
